Sony Ericsson announces a new Mobile Phone in the Walkman series.
W980 supports UMTS/HSDPA 2100 and GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900, and has Sony Ericssons Shake Control and SenseMe technologies, 8GB of memory, 3.2 megapixel camera, Picture blogging, Video blogging, Video recording, 2.2-inch QVGA main display, 176 x 176 pixels external display, Bluetooth stereo (A2DP), integrated stereo speakers, FM radio with RDS, built-in FM transmitter, Walkman player, Access NetFront Web browser and comes with the new Stereo Portable Handsfree HPM-77.

The phone measures 92 x 46 x 16.9 mm and weights 100 grams.
The talk time is 9 hours (GSM) and Standby 300 hours (GSM).
The Music listening time is 16 hours.

Sony Ericsson W980i Walkman will be available from Q3 2008 in the colour black.
